We’ve all heard how drinking water is better for our health than drinking a soda or a sugary juice, but how often is sparkling water offered as an option? Few people realize the benefits of drinking sparkling water, or don’t think to have it as a healthy option.
What is sparkling water?
Sparkling water is water that has been infused with carbon dioxide gas under pressure. Most sparkling waters have salt added to them to taste, and some brands include small amounts of other minerals.
Sparkling water is slightly acidic, which is what triggers the enjoyable sensation in your mouth.
Why should I choose sparkling water?
There are so many reasons why sparkling water should be an option for your employees. Other than just being a “fun” option to mix with their Crystal Light flavor packets, sparkling water promotes weight loss and healthy habits. Instead of drinking a soda with preservatives and a high amount of sugar, people now have the option to get their carbonation fix through water.
Recent studies have suggested that sparkling water keeps people feeling full, as the sparkling water forces food to remain in your stomach for longer. Sparkling water is a great option for people who are trying to create healthy habits but may not like drinking plain water all the time.
Drinking sparkling water will keep your employees hydrated and healthy, just as normal water does. Being hydrated means we perform our best both physically and mentally, which leads to a more productive workday for everyone involved.
What’s so great about these machines?
Our B4 Sparkling CT machines give you the option of hot, cold and sparkling water. There’s a large (10.75”) area for filling reusable bottles, and has a sealed, hygienic direct-chill cooling system. The machine itself won’t take up a large amount of counter space either, as they are only 16.25x13x18.5. This machine makes about five and a half gallons of cold water and one and a half gallons of hot water every hour.
